Students act like they are being tortured to have to come to the library but for some of them, it is an eye opening experience and they end up checking out books and movies. Go to the main desk in the library and show your current AI student ID and we will give you the log-in & password sheet for all of our databases.Thinkmap Visual Thesaurus, developed by Thinkmap, Inc., is a dictionary and thesaurus that provides intuitive schematic semantic and conceptual linkages between words. I see that the next issue of Print (which we get in our library) has a story about a new kid’s TV show on Nickelodeon. Yo Gabba Gabba! The name caught my eye because I do love the Ramones. Then I read that Mark Mothersbaugh is behind it and it will include music from bands like the Shins. And it’s inspired by Paul Rand. It is supposed to be the first live-action kid’s show since Pee-wee’s Playhouse that’s as entertaining for adults as it is for children. I’m in. (Source: AIDallas Library)
